Choose a job you love and you won't have to work a day in your life

I was born in Mumbai (formerly Bombay), a city in Western India, and the financial capital of India. When I was about 2 1/2 years old, my dad shifted to Ras-al-Khaymah in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), and we lived in this quiet emirate for about 4 years. In 1990, we shifted base to Dubai, the 'Pearl of the Gulf', and currently the most sought after destination in the Middle East. I spent just over 9 years in this city, and living in Dubai for many years has shaped my character as a very tolerant and broad-minded person.

After my 10th grade examinations we shifted to Mumbai, as many people in the Gulf do, for a better education. I completed my Bachelors in Electronics Engineering at Vivekanand Education Society's Institure of Technology, popularly known as VESIT. During those four years I learnt a lot, through courses and projects, but also about family ties, friendship, team-work and most importantly about myself. In short, Mumbai and VESIT have added the zest and confidence in my life. You just can't get many more vibrant and cosmopolitan cities in the world.

In 2005, I decided to pursue my Master's in Electrical Engineering at an U.S. university. A few people did question that decision, since I had already secured admission into IISc., Bangalore. However, I was clear that the U.S. system of higher education was better suited to me. Also, being a travel freak, the prospect of visiting another nation was very inviting as well. I joined North Carolina State University, Raleigh to focus on Integrated Circuit (IC) design.
